This is a 30-hour module designed for MSc degree given by University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. This module discusses theory, concepts, practices, technologies and modern design of big data implementations. Hands-on were done with Spark, SQL, Python using Anaconda, Jupiter Notebook, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Data Lake and Azure Databricks.

Well organized and structured module. all materials and practical are really good. Lots of industry experience / real world scenarios were discussed. It could have been really great If there was a mini project which covers all we learnt where we could have applied them practically.

Very much organized lecture series and slides. More practical sessions would add an additional value to this as we do not have infrastructure to experiment by configuring a local setup.
